Starting from beauty influencers on YouTube to makeup artist. People from gay community has always found their medium of expression through makeup. For some it is a coping mechanism against the bullying or hateful comments from friends and family members. For centuries Make up has always been a medium of expression be that male or female. Enhancing des external beauty provides mental satisfaction.

Beauty Gurus like Jeffree Star or James Charles are well known faces in beauty industry. Creating products that and promoting them online through platform like YouTube helped to connect with people around the world.

These celebrities made a fortune just by selling the products. How do they convince others to use their products. There is a typical psychology that is used to promote these products. Revealing videos or Reaction videos by popular beauty influencers help them to reach out to public. Wide range of viewers including teens and adults across different shades of gender spectrum are encouraged to use the products and can show their creativity.

In India, Makeup industry is highly dominated by a handful companies. Mostly products are shipped from countries like South Korea or China. Cheap products with very short shelf life helped these companies to create an empire. The business is booming like anything as there are very less awareness and vigilance by the government.

So if you are into makeup or an entrepreneur looking for an idea for business then Indian market is waiting for you.

Took 65 years to come out

Hi everyone, this is Sam. Trans genders have always been a part of our society kept hidden from the eyes. Our culture teaches us to question anything that doesn't fall under our knowledge.  It doesn't show any mercy and can become cruel to those who goes against it. Fear of losing everything. How much it can affect us?

If you want to know the answer you must know about Catilyn Jenner aka Bruce Jenner. It took him 65 years to accept himself and express his true identity as Woman.
Bruce, being a child with dyslexia had hard time to focus on study. Bruce Jenner happens to be one of the world's best athlete. His career in sports started with receiving scholarship that he couldn't continue due to his knee injury. He was advised to go for track rather than football or basketball by his coach. He participated in Decathlon in 1972 and secured 10th place. In 1976, he became a world champion in Olympics.

Our society portrays a different picture for people like him- macho, full of manliness, success and money. As a result he was married with Chrystie Crownover and had two children.

As he was focused more into sports to get away from the guilt and fear about his fame and career their marriage didn't last. Linda Diane Thompson came into his life as the second woman and they had two children. Linda came to know about her husband's true identity.

Although she was kind of shocked to know about his husband's obsession with women clothes, it was Bruce's first reveal about his long lost identity which he kept safe for years. The two got separated but Linda kept his secret within her and kept her promise.
By this time Bruce was broke when he met Kris Jenner  on a blind date and they got hitched within 5 months. Kris took care of his financial crisis and the two initiated many businesses together.

Kris already had three 4children (Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Robert Kardashians )  from her first marriage. Kris and Bruce had two daughters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. According to Bruce, he was quite surprised to became a father with two daughters while he was on hormone therapy. Keeping up with Kardashians was a great success that also brought out a lot of secrets that Bruce didn't want to reveal. In 2013,  Bruce decided to separate from Kris and on the following year they filed divorce.

In 2015 Bruce finally decided to come out and express his true self. on an interview with Diane Sawyer, he openly talked about his life and 65 years of struggle as a transgender.

How much does it take to accept one's own self? Apparently a lot, at least for a person who is still in closet. A gay person who is afraid of his secrets, tries to find a sense of love and affection from his community and our community don't show any mercy towards these people. Forcing them to come out, bashing them publicly or humiliating further breaks the person morally. These people when gets married, is forced to prove his manliness. Domestic violence is one such result of showing off dominance. Thus being a part of this family, we need to change our mind, reassess our perspectives so that people feel comfortable to their own skin. Together we can bring the change that unites us because one thing that we lack nowadays is  nothing but unity.

Pride in Pandemic

Hi guys! Sam here. As Pride Month is approaching very fast a lot of questions are raising the concern including  How is Pride going to happen in this pandemic? Is it safe to go out to organize or attend Pride ? How businesses are going to get affected?

Pride is a very auspicious day for the LGBTQ community signifying sacrifice, freedom, togetherness and  identity. It aims to promote equality through visualization and reducing discrimination.

Homosexuality is still a matter of shame and taboo in countries such as India, Iran and many more middle eastern countries. The society doesn't even wish to accept them socially. No wonder why so many people get simply killed or thrown from building or even lashes from the so called moral police of the society. Governments even back these hooligans with law and protection.A government is supposed to take care of citizens irrespective of their caste, creed or religion. It has no authority to assign any personal choice. A boy will marry a girl and vice versa can only be decided by the individual himself or herself which is very much personal.

History of Gay Pride

The first gay pride parade in 1969, known as the March on Stonewall, started as a protest against discrimination and violence against gays in New York City. Today, pride events have become an annual ritual and have grown to include thousands of gay and gay-friendly participants, not to mention hundreds of spectators. Many gays and lesbians dress in bright colors, head-to-toe leather or sometimes next to nothing. But regardless of the attire, all of the participants join the festivities to remind the world that gays deserve the same rights as others and people should be free to live their own lifestyle, void of judgement or hate. Gay pride is also a symbol of solidarity and an opportunity to express the vivid personalities which reflect the diverse gay communities throughout the world. During this time (and in many places year round), the skies are covered with the gay pride flags and banners, the symbol of gay solidarity and freedom.

Where are we now?

So far pandemic has successfully claimed more than 200 thousand lives and doesn't seem to slow down yet. Pride has always been very special for al LGBTQ and a great source of revenue for the government and business giants. In this crisis we have to set our priority first. no celebration or businesses can be bigger than human lives. Thus let us think of different ways to celebrate our PRIDE.

Pride doesn't symbolize getting easy sex or vulgarity. Embracing what we are inside and out and expressing that through our actions must be our priority. We must set an example by sacrificing celebration over the death of thousands. After all this if you still wish to celebrate pride by going out then you must ask yourself one question, Is this WORTH it?

One Step Towards Acceptance of Gays in Society

Hi everyone, this is Sam. Thanks to Corona we're going nuts day by day! Social media, News across the globe are reporting increase in the deaths along with rise in the cases of domestic violence. Too much negativity consuming our life, its like corona is sucking up the life from us leaving the empty bodies with deep psychological imbalance.

Amidst all this negativity a small news came from some countries where discrimination among the hetero and homosexual has seen a new turn by setting up an example with accepting the blood donated by the members from LGBTQ community.

Countries like United States, Denmark and Northern Ireland has already lifted the ban on homosexuals that restricted them from donating blood. Recently Brazil has added in the list. Brazilian Supreme court has passed the judgement after 4 years in 2020 and mentioned it against humanity. Notably LGBTQ is accepted and Gay marriage is legal in these countries. This judgement will certainly boost up the confidence in gay community worldwide.

It seems pretty weird as why these developed nations put such a ban. Right? Well the reason that has been advocated, is a global surge in HIV/AIDS cases in 1980. It was said that a homosexual person can't donate blood if he/she had sex 12 months prior to the donation (Yes, that blew my mind). Italy has lifted this illogical restriction way back.

Why is it illogical?
According to standard procedure of blood donation world wide, a series of tests are being conducted before a person donates blood. Any medical history of the donor needs to be recorded for tracking and safety of the donor as well as the recipient. Donors having serious illness or any genetic diseases are generally avoided. HIV/AIDS is an Immuno-compromise disease that increases the risk of fatality as the body is too vulnerable to handle. The intravenous nature transmission of the disease became the backbone leading to such ban.

Nonetheless this pandemic has shown us a lot. Starting from utter failures of governments to the absolute greed of power, a small effort has certainly made its place in this utter madness and put a smile on our face.

CNN Gay Journalist becomes a Father

Hi everyone this is Sam here. Amidst this awful situation world wide happiness finds its way to put a smile on our faces.

positive news,

CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper, an excellent journalist and archenemy of President Trump, has successfully become a father.

In a bulletin he told that as a Gay kid, I've never thought that I would become a father. He named his son Wyatt Morgan Cooper, named after his grand father.

Words can't express the joy of being a father and Anderson is no exception. He thanked his son's surrogate mother and her family for his little Wyatt.

I sincerely  hope this will encourage Gay couples who wishes to  have a family in future with bringing new members into their family photos.

GAY Marriage SCAM

Hi everyone, Sam here. Today I'll talk about a serious concern which can potentially destroy your faith in humanity leaving with an empty pocket.

We all wish to have a loving partner with a happy family. Marriage is one such event that plays a huge role at different emotional level. But what if someone  makes money out of your emotions?

 Courtesy: Vice, YouTube
The video is made by VICE, a popular show and raised a very important concern on gay marriage in India.

Decriminalization of 377 reignited the dying wick of hope that seemed long lost in LGBTQ family. We all witnessed a new India where gays, trans, cis don't have to be afraid of anything. A lot of people came out , arranging pride and events to celebrate their sexuality. Gay couples across the world who are of Indian origin got married which restored the faith in relationship and commitment in our community.

"The arranged gaymarriage Bureau"  First Indian initiative that aims to provide a match for gays both national and internationally a pioneer in gay marriage in India. Check out the video to know more about this scam.

Availability of registered "marriage bureau" gives one the certainty to have a partner a family. That's not always the case. According to the video the bureau failed to provide minimum services. The content raises questions on its authenticity, profiles, content even the address.

Most of the gays suffer from mental health issues ranging from depression to oppression to absolute loneliness. This desperation leads us to seek comfort on social media. The video is very alarming. Playing with emotions of people can lead to some serious consequences and making money from this is the lowest level anyone could ever achieve.
